Being a lifelong birder, Ashwin is especially troubled by the effect of climate change and anthropogenic stressors on birds. He has conducted independent scientific research and has collaborated with others on several avian ecology and conservation topics. He has published his research and has shared his findings at numerous conferences and venues.
